Real-Time GPS Tracker

A magnetic GPS unit that reports a vehicle or asset’s location to a private online portal, updating live and accurate to within a few metres. It runs for up to four weeks on a charge, needs no wiring and no installer, and attaches to any steel surface.

It arrives configured. Charge it, place it, log in.

What people use it for

Theft recovery. Motorbikes, trailers, caravans, boats, ride on mowers and excavators. Anything that disappears off a driveway or a site overnight. Police can act quickly when you are able to give them a live location.

Tool trailers and site equipment. Trade theft across Sydney is relentless and insurers are slow. A tracker in a trailer is cheap by comparison.

Small fleets. Where you run a handful of vehicles and a full telematics contract is overkill.

Caravans and touring. A unit tucked into an A frame gives you a location if it walks off a caravan park.

Family vehicles. On a car you own, with the driver aware of it. Plenty of parents do this with a P plater and it works well when it is an open arrangement rather than a secret one.

Where you can and cannot put one

You can track a vehicle or asset you own.

You cannot put a tracker on a vehicle belonging to someone else. In New South Wales, installing or using a tracking device to determine the location of a vehicle without the consent of the person in lawful control of it is an offence under the Surveillance Devices Act 2007. That includes a partner’s car, a family member’s car, and a car in someone else’s name even if you paid for it.

For work vehicles, tracking is normally fine where drivers have been told in writing and the business has a policy covering it.

If what you actually want is to know where another adult is going, speak to us about an investigation instead. Licensed surveillance is lawful, it produces evidence you can use, and it does not expose you to a criminal charge.

Lawful use

Supplied for use on vehicles, trailers and equipment owned by the purchaser, or on work vehicles where drivers have been notified. Not for tracking another person’s vehicle. The purchaser is responsible for compliance with the surveillance legislation in their state.
