On the ground in New South Wales
Covering New South Wales means working from the Sydney basin out through the Hunter, the Illawarra, the Central West and the Riverina. Distance is the main constraint, so we plan around it: we confirm the ground before an operative is committed, and we tell you when travel time is going to make a job uneconomic rather than billing you for a day in a car.

The law in New South Wales
It is worth being clear about the legal position. Observation in a public place is generally lawful. Devices are what the law controls. In New South Wales the Surveillance Devices Act 2007 (NSW) governs listening devices, optical devices, tracking devices and data surveillance, and licensing of investigators falls under the Security Industry Act 1997 (NSW), administered by the Security Licensing and Enforcement Directorate. Evidence gathered outside those limits is worthless to you, and it hands the other side a much better story than the one you were trying to tell.
Who you are dealing with

Frequently asked questions
Will anybody know I hired an investigator?
No. Our work is covert, our vehicles are unmarked and we report only to you, using whatever contact method you tell us is safe.
Can I use what you find in court?
Material gathered lawfully and documented properly is generally admissible. We keep original files unaltered and can provide a statement from the operative if a matter proceeds.
Can you put a tracking device on a vehicle?
Only where it is lawful, which generally means a vehicle you own. The Surveillance Devices Act 2007 (NSW) restricts tracking devices and we will not breach it.
What do you need from me to start?
Whatever you already have. Names, addresses, vehicle details, dates and times, screenshots. You do not need it organised before you call.
Are you licensed?
We hold NSW Master Licence 412080174 and VIC Master Licence Z6583160S, and we trade as GORA Investigations Pty Ltd, ABN 34 600 932 438.
